Where we work
A tight patch on purpose — it's how we're on time and how the price stays sensible.
Who turns up
The Prune & Mow team — Gardeners
A small team of gardeners based in North London. We do the list — the weekly mow, the hedge that's got away, the borders nobody's looked at since the last tenant.
Questions people ask
- How much does regular garden maintenance cost?
- From £35 a visit, depending on the size of the garden and how often we come. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we'll give you a price the same day.
- Which parts of London do you cover?
- Islington, Hackney and Stoke Newington — postcodes N1, N7, N19, E5, E8, E9, N16. If you're just outside, ask; we'd rather say yes to a neighbour than no.
- Do you do landscaping, decking or patios?
- No. We do gardening: lawns, hedges, borders, beds, clearance and the regular upkeep. If you need a builder we'll say so.
- How do I book?
- WhatsApp us a photo of the garden and your postcode. We reply with a price, you say yes, we turn up. That's the whole process.
Notes from the round
- When to cut a hedge in London (and when you legally can't) — The two windows for trimming, the one for reductions, and the bird-nesting rule that catches people out every spring. Privet, laurel, box, yew, leylandii.
